Embree Hill is a new community in Highmark Residential’s portfolio. Uniquely located on Lake Ray Hubbard in Garland Texas the property is a short walk to Captain’s Cove Marina and Windsurfer Bay Park.
The property boasts having a resort style pool and cabana lounge, lush courtyards with grilling areas, 2 Athletic clubs, Clubhouse, and Business center. Prestonwood Design Group was tasked to design all interior spaces including the unit finishes and exterior mockups for the unit buildings.
The lake was the inspiration for the clubhouse design and a photo wall of Lake Ray Hubbard covers the main wall in the leasing center. Large floor to ceiling windows in the clubroom overlooks the massive pool area The great room style clubroom boasts a large teaching kitchen for parties and events and smaller intimate areas for more quiet gatherings.
The unit finish package includes quartz countertops, upscale lighting package, custom style cabinets, and wood plank style flooring.

This property has 2 generous outdoor spaces that both needed attention. We installed new lounge furniture, dining tables and chairs, and pagoda style lounge beds for a fun accent to the pool area. A new firepit with aqua rocking chairs was installed in the courtyard along with an oversized sectional and lounge furniture. Dining tables and bar height tables were added to the gazebo at the grill area and string lights add an element of warmth to the gazebo at night.
The large blank concrete paver area was hot and sparce and was replaced with a lush lawn and aqua hammocks that match the rockers at the firepit. The sky lounge got new deep seating and lounge furniture. The outdoor areas went from boring and uninviting to a fun and hip space to lounge with friends.
